Does it hurt
The level of pain experienced during treatment varies from person to person. Some people have sensitive skin around their eyebrows, while others can even fall asleep during treatment. In general, the level of pain is considered low, and most clients find it comparable to plucking several hairs at once. If you think you are sensitive, you can ask your doctor for Emla anesthetic cream and apply it at home beforehand. However, more than 95% of my clients do not use anesthesia and undergo the treatment without any problems. It does not hurt to take 2 paracetamol before the treatment.
How long will it stay in place?
The results generally last for 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as age, skin type, and lifestyle. Over time, the pigment will gradually fade due to the natural renewal of skin cells. Older people generally have slower cell renewal, which means that the pigment remains in the skin longer. People with oilier skin usually experience faster fading of the pigment. Exposure of the eyebrows to the sun can also contribute to faster fading of the pigment. In addition, peels and intensive skin treatments can accelerate the fading of the pigment.

What are the aftercare
instructions?
New permanent makeup can be compared to a graze. Inadequate care and unhygienic treatment can lead to wound infections and the formation of scar tissue, which can affect the healing process of permanent makeup eyebrows. With proper care, it normally takes 2 to 6 weeks for the treated skin to heal completely.
Day 1: After the treatment, you should gently wipe the eyebrows every 30 minutes with a damp cotton pad to minimize scab formation. Once there is no more wound fluid, you can reduce this interval. In the evening, gently wash your eyebrows with warm water and clean fingers, for example while showering. After washing, gently pat the eyebrows dry with a clean towel and apply a thin layer of the recommended ointment.
From day 2: Wash your eyebrows twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, in the same way with warm water and clean fingers. Then gently pat them dry with a clean towel and apply another thin layer of the recommended ointment. Continue this until you feel that your skin has healed and closed properly.

How is hygiene handled?
Browbiz holds a GGD license and complies with the strict hygiene regulations and legislation of the Netherlands. Every three years, my working methods, treatment room, and products are inspected and approved by the GGD. I attach great importance to hygiene and am very aware of its importance.
I have old pigment. Can you do anything with that
It depends on the extent to which the old pigment has faded. With Nano Hairstroke Brows, the empty spaces between the hairstrokes are important. If these spaces are still filled with old pigment that is too dark, this pigment will remain visible between the new hairstrokes. This can create an unnatural effect and look messy. If the old pigment is still too dark, it is advisable to wait until it fades further or to have it removed by a certified laser clinic. An alternative option is to cover the old pigment with Powder/Ombre Brows.
Feel free to send me a photo if you are unsure whether your eyebrows are ready for a new set of brows.
I have white eyebrow
hairs. Can you do anything with that?
The aim is to create natural eyebrows that match your own hair color. We always use colors that are as close as possible to your natural eyebrow color. A slightly darker shade may sometimes be appropriate, but with white eyebrow hairs, even a light dark shade is often still too light for nano hairstroke brows. In that case, powder brows are a good and attractive option.
If you still want hairstroke brows, we will have to choose a darker blonde shade and you will also have to dye your eyebrow hairs regularly. So consider carefully whether you really want nano hairstroke brows, because they require regular maintenance.
Eyebrows by other artists
I had my eyebrows done elsewhere. Can I have a touch-up treatment with you?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Touch-up treatments are only for customers who have purchased a new set. It always takes more time to touch up/renew pigmented eyebrows done by another artist. After a new set, you can have a touch-up treatment.
I have a scar. Can you do anything with that?
Certainly. Depending on the type of scar tissue, permanent makeup can be the solution for scars in the eyebrows.
When is permanent makeup not recommended?
Permanent makeup is not recommended in the following cases:
-
if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
-
if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
